สาระสังเขป: Reports on results of the survey conducted by Philco-Ford Corporation in collaboration with USOM, National Research Council, the Ministry of Interior and Chulalongkorn University in four villages of Changwat Nakhon Phanom. during June, 1968. Gives objectives of the survey and itemizes improvement suggestions for a proposed revision of amphur administration. Deals with relationship between the amphur and village officials, potentials of the Village Community Development Committee, potentials of village leaders, role of the amphur officials in rural development, program planning in community development and attitudes of the rural public toward the amphur administration. Covers points for revision pertaining to authority duplications, autonomy of villages and amphurs, appropriation of village development funds, and village heads election system.
